Independent Artist

247 The Sound are big supporters of Independent Artist. We love to liken ourselves as the underdog station that gives a hand up to those who are looking to get the needed exposure with their music that wouldn't possibly be heard on local radio stations. This is where we have the leverage to break the rules of the FCC, because they don't govern us, but our listeners, and artist does, and we seek to be a place of refuge to be your station for R&B, Old School & Throwbacks.
